Back to the Grindstone…

Ah.

The holidays are over.

Everything has settled.

Trees have been dismantled.

Tinsel tucked away.

Mistletoe removed (unfortunately!)

And toasting champagne goblets washed and dried for next New Years Eve.

Guess that means it’s back to the grindstone!

The great thing though about doing something you love is that you look forward to getting back to it. Yes, writing is a lot of work and yes, I most definitely needed a break, but my stories won’t come alive until I give them life. That doesn’t happen if they are sitting collecting cg dust inside my computer. So I am ready to dive back into the worlds I have created where Spiders reveal the Truth and Revenge never turns out quite how you expect.

Is there a story inside you that needs to come out? Or has it already and you want to share it with others? Let me know!

i think breaks are wonderful, but i also think you’re right on it by saying that things don’t get done if you don’t eventually get back to work on it. and the beginning of a new year seems to be a good time to do so.

i’ve got stories on stories, but none that are fiction. i don’t have that creative side of my brain in gear. i could never even make up stories to tell my kids when they were young. i admire all those of you who can make these wonderful tales come to life for the rest of us to enjoy. thanks.
