CONvergence 2014!

Oh boy. What a blast! Here we are at our table (in a quite small room) getting ready to start our time at the extravaganza. And it was definitely that! From maidens to video game characters to pirates to fairies, there were so many amazing costumes there I couldn’t believe it!

Conrad and I had a great time, met some wonderful people, and I’m so glad we were able to make it out to Bloomington for the amazing show.

Hope you all enjoy the pictures!

My favorite… the Keymaster…

I went back and forth if I should dress up as someone–I had the artist across from me say I would make an excellent elf. 🙂 But in the end, I wanted to make sure I got recognized as myself for people in the future. Although it did seem like so much fun…!

What/who would YOU dress up as??

those costumes are simply wonderful! what fun! and, you look like you’re having a good time with all those people, christa, which is very cool. if i were to dress up, i’d love to figure out how to do the cheshire cat. i think he’s my all-time favorite fantasy character. if it were to be sci-fi, i’d go as a thumb, from ‘the hitchiker’s guide to the galaxy’. of course, i’d love to be a tinnybot, but i have no idea how i’d pull that off. man, it’s just fun thinking about it. can’t imagine how great it would be to actually do it. i’m so glad it went well.
