This FallCon celebrated 2 years since the release of my first graphic novel, HOLLOW. I was so grateful to be included once again as a creative author and have a table at FallCon this past weekend. As usual, it was SOOOOO much fun! The volunteer staff was amazing, the costuming was great, and the attitudes of other sellers and fans was incredible. I am truly in awe at the welcome I and illustrator Conrad Teves received and was SUPER humbled to be sitting right next to Gordon Purcell and Dan Jurgens!
Okay, enough gushing. Here are the pics: (the best part!)
Here is our booth all set up to begin the day! Conrad is searching for great artists. He doesn’t need to look far!
Here is our set up for the launch of our newest in the Hollow’s Prism series: Issue no. 3 ALLIANCE!
Squee the tinnybot! He appeared again, this time bringing tinnybot inspired cookies! He’s so generous…
Chief Master from HALO anyone?? I felt so safe…
Jack and Sally from A Nightmare Before Christmas! His skeleton hand was not as bony as I’d thought it would be.
Not only an AMAZING Princess Leia, but she made her own R2D2 umbrella! It was SOOOOO adorable!
((Also do you notice the tinnybot cookies are almost gone?!))
Most of you know this tradition by now: HAGRID!
This time his Book of Monsters is only chewing on Hollow’s Prism no. 3 ALLIANCE and not my head!
((Squee thought a refill of cookies was in order here…))
Very chilling Winter Soldier…get it?… chilling? (*snort)
Here is the winner of the FREE copy of Hollow’s Prism no. 3 ALLIANCE! Congrats once again to Brian Robinson!
And last, but not least, a wonderful visit from my Dad. I was so happy he could make it!
((And Gordon Purcell in the background chatting up his many fans!))
Stay tuned for more coming soon, including a fun little promo from the new video podcast show, The On Now Show! Also if you couldn’t make it to FallCon, I will be at the Twin Cities Book Festival this Saturday, Oct 11th from 10am-5pm at the St. Paul Fairgrounds. Admission is FREE!! So I hope you can stop by and see me. 🙂

The tinnybot cookies were nilla wafers and cake icing. They had every color except yellow or orange so red was the closest i could find. 🙂
A picture of me in your Fallcon collection. I am honored!! “It’s not over yet!”
Of course! Every time you’ve come out to visit your picture is posted. It’s always wonderful when you are there!
