I’m finishing reading the final book of the Children of the Gods trilogy (Redemption by author Jessica Therrien) and her main character’s powers got me thinking. Elyse’s blood can either heal or poison someone, depending if it comes from the left side or right side of her body.
So my Theoretical Thursday is this:
If you could have this ability, would you? The catch: if you say yes, everyone will know you have this ability.

no, I wouldn’t. I don’t like the idea of having that kind of power, and, since everyone would know about it, I don’t like the expectations and/or demands that might be put upon me.
